Lord Leighton's Drawings Online

Lord Leighton's Drawings Online

Here is a new web site from the good people at the Leighton House Museum, enabling a search of Leighton's pencil drawings etc. world-wide. The museum itself is well worth a visit.

  1. So glad I found your blog; I can't wait to completely peruse all of your postings. Confession: I had not heard of Lord Leighton before and, now that I've been all over the museum's website, I'm completely jealous of anyone who lives close enough to go there whenever they want. So I've added it to my list of places to visit whenever I finally make it to the U.K. Thanks for posting!

    1. You're welcome ... also, check out the Linley Sambourne house, if you ever make it to Kensington.

  2. Thanks for the heads up! I love that they do tours with a costumed guide using material from family diaries. I'm going to make that suggestion to the historical society here in my town.
